Back from Chicagoland and back to blogging!
This past week I was visiting Chicago and also attending the IAHSP Convention. It was TONS of fun! Also love several fellow ASPs came up to me: “Now, are you Cindy Lin from Active Rain?!” It was great actually meeting people in person and feeling I am still well received even being gone from the rain for so long… 6 months is light years in blogging year! Just look at how much I have slipped on the ranking board on AR.

I had a fantastic time walking around Chicago. I went to Frank Llyod Wright’s Home &
Studio. It’s so interesting of how people’s values have changed over the time. It throughly reflected by their housing choices and how they chose to live. Other highlights include the Ernest Hemingway Birthplace & Museum, Merchandise Mart, Museum of Contemporary of Art, Navy Pier (fireworks included), Conservatory with Niki in the Garden, and local farmer’s market. And it was SO great to meet Sue & Craig in person, deep dish pizza and had a tour around Chicago in Craig’s stage-mobile! It truly is a fantastic city and everyone is SO nice! I feel very refreshed and ready to get back to work. Well, semi-ready. haha
The last day at Chicago I strolled around farmer’s market (it was very heavy to bring home the apple butter & pear butter, but well worth it! Can’t wait to taste it tomorrow morning at breakfast!), bought new shoes (hee hee hee; i wear sweat pants so often. finally treat myself to something different!), also randomly walked by a salon and cut my hair on a whim! I will truly miss Chicago and the friends that I have met in Chicago. See you next year at the convention! In the meanwhile, I look forward to hear about your success and your businesses.
(Ps. This doesn’t mean I don’t have any love for non-ASP stagers! If anyone ever come to SF, LET ME KNOW! I saw Kate Hart’s photos and I am so JEALOUS! Wish I was there!)
