I staged a starter home lately with a tricky floor plan. There was a rather large walkaway between the kitchen and the living room. I decided to make it into a dining room because the walkaway is too large for a hallway and there is no dining room in the house. Here is the before:

Had the home not been staged, buyers would’ve have a difficult time to figure out what

they can do with this room. Additionally I picked furniture that are “slim” and able to be tucked in to make the room feel less cramped. It will also help buyers to recognize this “walkway” room is really a dining room.
