Staging a Home From the Floor Up
No matter what type of room you are staging — we’ve got you covered! An easy way to change the look of a room (or pull one together) is an area rug. These can be very inexpensive, are available in different shapes and sizes, and the best part: you can take it with you after you sell your staged home!
This kitchen is instantly transformed with a shot of comfy color from this well placed area rug.
A patterned rug — like the one above, can add a geometric theme to an otherwise plain room. Add accessories that match the colors, and TADA!! — an instant staged room.
These two very different round rugs both add a little extra to these living rooms. In the first the zebra pattern really defines the style of the room, while in the second pic, it merely complements it.
This rug takes up almost the entire living room space — giving guests the choice of sitting on the couch or finding a comfy spot on the floor.
The area rug in this small space works well with the large mirror on the wall — making an otherwise small living room seem more spacious.
If you have a bare floor, or are stumped on how to bring a room together — a beautiful area rug can serve to be the central focal point OR fill an empty space with style. Don’t forget this easy trick when staging a room or an entire home!
