Carnival of Real Estate Home Staging Ed. #3

Hello all ;)

Thanks for all who have submitted the post. I do apologize the slight tardiness of this post since I have been in staging training all day today and just finished up for the night (11:34pm to be exact). Hmm, anyway, let’s get on with the carnival ;)

Unfortunately I do have to reject quite a few entries. Like I said before, ONLY articles related to staging will be considered. Just because you wrote a post about real estate will not be considered. Without further ado, here is the edition #3:

On Seller Ed: Jim Atkins @ Ask the Advisor wrote How to: Sell Your Home Without an Agent. It’s a pretty good article talking about various steps of the selling process when you are on your own. It touches on curb appeal, mortgage process and determining the sale price.

Speaking of the crucial factor of selling — Setting the Price, Akanke @ Open Door Staging wrote Sell Your House — Let’s play the Price Reduction game. “Once you start, you cannot stop playing it… It’s a game that all home/condo sellers can play. It’s so addictive; all nerby home sellers will want to join in… there are some real estate agents that enjoy the game also.”

Blogging ed for stagers: Kimberly Wester presents How to Start a Blog about Staging (or anything else) posted at The Details of Staging (Kim’s Blog).

On Seller’s Musings, Melissa Marro presents $10,000 price reductions & 6 mos on market.. why not move the cable instead?

At last, On Staging Industry’s Internal Struggle, I present What makes a stager an amateur or a professional?

Thanks again for everyone who participated!!! Please keep on submitting relevant content to make this carnival a success and continue to grow!

Cheers,

Cindy*Staged4more
