<description>My husband is active U.S. Army and we usually relocate almost every two years. Three and a half years ago we got stationed in the San Antonio, Texas area with the idea that we would retire. We found and bought a large, beautiful home in the country. Where we lived happily for about a year and a half.

Then, the Army, offered to station us in the Chicago, Illinois area, which is where I&#039;m from. So, knowing we would have to move with just six months notice, we said yes. Homes in our area took between 12 to 18 months to sell, so I quickly interviewed Realtors, who all mentioned the term &quot;Staging&quot;.

We had about the same square footage as comparable homes in our area, but they had more land, a pool or a finished deck. We needed an edge, so I decided to take a course and stage our home.

Well, the home sold in 12 weeks, for a $75,000 profit over purchase price! And, the only advantage we had was staging.

Staging helped sell my home and on a new career as a Staging Professional.
