Sushi is a great love of mine, another one is color. A fantastic thing about sushi is that it is a feast to your eyes. The fattiness of the sushi adds depths & shades to the fish itself. Look at how vibrant that ikura is! (center grid, fish roes) MMM yum!

Here are a few ways you can infuse the sushi palette into your daily life:

Fatty Tuna

Spam Sushi

Soy Sauce

I have been lurking Bemz for awhile now and finally they have opened up the American market. You may be asking.. What the heck is Bemz?! What Bemz does is taking your worn out IKEA furnishing and adding a new life by its transforming and versatile slipcovers. They are absolutely AMAZING.
Let me show you what I meant:
Here is one of my favorite couches — Klippan. It goes everywhere and I am sure you have seen it appearing at various TV show sets and commercial spaces. It’s sleek, clean and fabulous. In fact, it was a elimination challenge of HGTV’s Design Star.

But all white can be boring sometimes. Enter Bemz.

Pretty cool, huh?

Whether you are staging homes or just entertaining guests in your home, a little bit elegant and fun presentation can go a long way. It not only makes the table looks nice, adds points of interests, it can also be a great conversation starter if you are strapped for topics
Here are some more resources (there are a few repeats here, but sometimes it’s easier to see from different diagrams):
Enter Hova.

FabricPotsTM are collapsible and lightweight (reducing energy and space needed per unit for shipping), and incorporate eco-friendly material options (the sleeves are available in 100% recycled polyester and the bases are recyclable plastic).
It’s also a lot less to carry, easier on the backs.
How awesome is that?!
These types of pots not only can work at homes, they can also be used for staging obviously, since it’s lightweight, easy to carry and collapsible.
I don’t normally shop Pottery Barn furniture but I saw their new “Smart Technology” collection and it’s actually pretty cool since it combines style and functions AND organizations (my favorite combo really, what more can a girl ask for?). Especially since gadgets can create a lot of CLUTTER and unsightly wires. The collection integrates the gadget clutter and also adding other functional and organization features. Here are my picks…

Reading design blogs today and came across this (!) I should be so lucky if I can own a home like this. I do wonder how much it is sold for (?) unfortunately it was not disclosed. It’s Dutch designer Sietze Kalkwijk’s home. *sigh* I can keep dreaming one day I can own a home in Netherlands! Seeing this house (although in Antwerp) has brought back so much memories of my brief stay in Netherlands & Belgium.
