Position Summary:
This is a great opportunity to learn how to style interiors and the world of buying furniture and props, in additions to small business ownership and entrepreneurship. Additionally, you will learn about creative marketing on a budget, trend research, as well as business and product development.

The Styling Intern’s work span across a variety of weekly responsibilities, including and not limited to front and back studio admin tasks, facilities upkeep, stock/inventory maintenance, supportive roles to supervisors, staging installation prep and breakdown, shipping retail items and other projects as requested.

Abilities to perform schedule-driven responsibilities with attention to details.
Duties:
Organizing, labeling, cleaning and maintaining inventory in the warehouse
Learn how to handle props, install artwork, style props and furnishing
Some administrative tasks
Warehouse and furniture organization
Assist Associates and Lead Stylist on home staging projects
Learn how to pack the inventory properly and prep for jobs
Learn how to touch up damaged floors and furniture
Learn how to accessorize and style interiors
Depending on the week, we may be live staging, wrapping projects or prepping in the warehouse, so every shift may be very different!
Expectations:
MUST BE A CURRENT STUDENT in good standing with the school
You must be able to work in teams or on your own
Being a team player is a must
Ability to lift 50lbs
Interests in prop styling, interior styling, home staging or similar fields
High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Basic construction skills in installing artwork, etc preferred
Ability to travel to our warehouse in an industrial area (limited public transportation) and to our job sites (may or may not have public transportation access)
Ability to use ladders, drills, box cutter and other miscellaneous tools
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with lead stylist on site and associates
High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
