Joké also enjoys teaching Real Estate Agents how to use home staging as a marketing tool to grow their business and attract quality clients who appreciate their value.
Drawing from extensive experience in teaching home-buying classes during her time as a Lead Agent at Redfin, and consulting with homeowners, Joké has acquired an excellent understanding of the art and psychology of marketing real estate. She excels at helping sellers reframe their emotional attachment to their home, seeing it instead as a marketable product, and a means for easy transition to their next chapter.
Joké skillfully utilizes design as a marketing tool to craft compelling stories that capture buyers’ emotions and propel them to make offers.
Raised in Lagos, Nigeria, Joké’s work ethic was influenced by a culture of unspoken expectations of community and nothing less than excellence. Surrounded by inspirational figures, including a Chef mother and an Accountant father, her upbringing and environment set the stage for a multifaceted career. Her diverse background in Business Administration, Human Resources, Graphic/Web Design, entrepreneurship, and Real Estate combined to create a business that generated a six-figure revenue in its first year, with consistent year-over-year growth of more than 100%.
As a serial entrepreneur and adept process and systems designer, Joké has developed a continuously evolving proprietary system that demystifies the art and business of launching, operating, and scaling a successful home staging business. Her proven formula is now part of the curriculum at an Interior Design School in Nigeria, where she serves as a faculty member. The courses developed by Joké are now being offered online for aspiring Home Stagers in the US and beyond.
